The Hub is such a convenience and a must have for anybody with a digital camera, web cam, gaming controller, or anything that plugs in via USB. I no longer have to plug in to the back of my computer or unplug something because I don't have enough space in the back to plug something else in.
The Hub has 4 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0. I am not sure why they didn't just make them all 3.0 but that is my only complaint.
The on off feature is great for when you have jump drives plugged in and the kids are messing around with the computer along as it is off they wont be able to access or change your jump drive. It is also nice t o have your web cam plug into it so that when you flick the switch off it gets no more power so it can't be accessed.
The Hub can run on the power adapter that comes with it if you are going to be using it with your web cam or as a charger I would suggest this, or it can be run off the USB power when you connect it to your computer if you are just going to be running jump drive and data transfer items on it.
The Big Downfall about this unit is how short the USB plug is it is just about 24". So you need to either get a USB 3.0 Extension Cable or have it within 2 feet of the computer.
